How to restrict a standard OVS in SAP C4C

Hi Experts,

 

I have a requirement to restrict the standard OVS appearing under Assign Team in Service Tickets based on the Service Ticket category selected.

 

Eg: If the ticket category is Claim Inquiry the Assign Team OVS should pop up only a specified set of teams instead of showing the entire list of teams available in the C4C tenant.

 

Kindly provide your inputs regarding this requirement.

Create a new Relative Selects for Dates

Hello,

 

I have a particular requirement where I have to develop various reports out of Opportunity Header Data source. Here we have a specific requirement on Selection screen where data need to be fetched on Start Date using Relative selects of 10 days, 21 days and few such custom relative selects.

 

At present, these values are not available by default.

 

I want to know if we can create relative selects in C4C.

How to administrate attachement types

Hi,

 

We have the option when we load the CRM with a new attachement to use a dropdown list called attachement type. Is there anyone who can explain how the different types is administrated? How can i change the different types available?

 

Is there any other way to create some kind of attachement structure? In our old CRM we have folder structures or different headlines where we stored the attachements.

Accessing Hybris Screen in SAP C4C Using a MashUp for Order Creation

Hi Experts,

 

 

There is a requirement to access SAP Hybris screen inside a C4C tenant using a Mash up.The activities which are done in Hybris like Order creation,  Order history viewing and all other stuffs needs to be done in C4C by navigating the Hybris screen inside C4C object.(eg Sales Order Tab of Customer TI screen)

 

Which Mash up should we go for and also provide the steps and prerequisites need to followed for achieving this.

When using HTML5, I can see tooltips for labels.  In the Responsive UI, I cannot see tooltips.  Is it available or planned to be available in the Responsive UI?

Interactive Dashboards - Legend of key figures

Dear,

 

I'm currently creating multiple dashboards for our sales reps.

 

On one dashboard, multiple charts are displayed with multiple key figures.

 

e.g.

Chart 1 - Opportunities - Expected Value & Item Value per sales rep

Chart 2 - Opportunities - Item Value per product category

Chart 3 - Opportunities - Pipeline per month - Expected Value, Item Value & Weighted Value

Chart 4 - Opportunities - Expected Value & Weighted Value per sales phase (proposal, identified, ...)

 

Now every chart defines its own color scheme.

In Chart 1, Expected Value is blue & Item Value is green.

In Chart 2, Item value is blue.

...

 

Is it possible to set the colors for the key figures manually? So a key figure always has the same color, no matter which chart it is on. This is to avoid confusion.

ERP Cockpit in Cloud for Customer

Hello guru's,

 

We have activated the ERP Cockpit as described in the documentation:

From the details of the account on the Sales Data tab you can also launch the ERP Cockpit with   Actions  ERP Cockpit  and you can open an ERP Customer Factsheet as PDF with   Actions  ERP Customer Factsheet  presumed your system is connected with ERP.

 

Prerequisites

To enable the Cloud for Customer system to launch the ERP Customer Cockpit you must do the following adaptations:

  1. 1.In the Administrator work center choose   General  Mashups  Mashup Authoring  and search for ERP Account Cockpit (SM00105) and update the URL with the connected ERP system data.
  2. 2.To find the URL, login to the corresponding ERP system and do the following steps:
  3. 1.Start transaction SICF, enter CFS_APPILCATION into the field ServiceName and press F8.

The service cfs_application is shown in the next screen.

  1. 2.Make a right click on the screen and select Test Service.
  2. 3.A web browser is opened with an URL. Copy this URL.

Alternatively you can also to the following:

Start transaction SE80, select Web Dynpro Comp/Intf. and enter CFS_COMPONENT and click Display. Then open web dynpro applications cfs_application and under the properties, copy the URL from field URL.

  1. 3.Now you can paste the URL in the mash-up and save your work.

When we test it we get the following result:

This page can’t be displayed

 

•Make sure the web address http://app-SYSID-hq-01.CUSTOMER.com:8000 is correct.

•Look for the page with your search engine.

•Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Fix connection problems

 

Have any of you worked with this, and can help us solve this? Is it a network failure? We have considered that we might miss some POWL in ECC, but this is not described in the documentation.

HTML mashup in the workcenter floorplan

Hi All,

 

I have a requirement to display a URL in a HTML mashup on the workcenter floorplan screen. I have been able to display the same in the account tab, however the requirement is to display it under the WCF. I have been able to create the embedded component and assign that component to the WCF page, however, it only displays the blank IFrame. Any pointers would help.

After creating a custom report, when assigning it to different work center views, it is sufficient to assign it to only one work center view that users have access to, or a certain or multiple work center view should be chosen?

How to configure 2 dependent dropdowns

Can anyone provide exact steps to create 2 dependent drop downs?

 

 

The requirement is to create custom BO having 2 fields Category and Sub-Category.

Sub-Category  should depends from Category.

Here are Category values:

- UK

- USA

 

 

Here are Sub-Category values:

- London

- Liverpool

- Dallas

 

 

It should be possible to make sub-categories dependent from Category. For example it should be possible to choose only London and Liverpool in case category is UK.

 

 

Here are how I tried to implement this.

Within custom BO created 2 fields.

1) element Category : CategoryListCode; - based on static Code List.

2) element SubCategory: SUBCATEGORYCode; - created based on Business Configuration Object and Business Configuration Set.

 

 

In the UI designer I was using Codelist Context Mapping in order to constrain Sub-Category with Category.

 

 

I do not see any errors, but Sub-Category field always empty. Could you please help to figure out?

SAP C4C Business Aanalytics Reporting :- How do we get the "reverse direction" business partner realtionships?

Hello Team,

 

I am currently working on Business Analytics and in the area of Business Partner realtionship - reports.Currently the standard datasource is providing "Realtionship Name" but not "Realtionship Description" and "Reverse Direction".But, unfortunately i would like to have reverse direction data in the customer report. Please can any one suggest.

 

I need the reverse direction data for Partner Customer and  SubPartner Customer.

Can C4C ve integrated with Outlook and Excel 2013-2016? We couldn't integrate it by ourselves with Outlook 2016? so I wonder if any of you have some suggestions.

Hello,

   I have couple of questions with regards to side bar

 

  1. Can it be configured to remove EMPLOYEES and PRODUCTS?
  2. Is it possible to configure additional Workcenters like ACCOUNTS AND CONTACTS to the side bar?

 

If the above are not configurable can be done through PDI development?

C4C + CTI + Contact Center integration

Hello

 

I've some troubles with C4C + CTI + Contact Center integration.

 

Inbound calls:

If I simulate an inbound call to C4C, CTI adapter says "OK". But nothing happens and call doesn't reach into C4C Live Activity pane.

Outbound calls:

If I click the number, call data appear in the Live Activity pane. But that's all, call doesn't pass further.

And why phone numbers sometimes don't form a link?

I've already checked browser settings and "CTIMain.htm" iframe is refering to http://localhost:36729/CTIMain.htm.

 

I would be grateful for any ideas.

SDK XRepository Error

Hi Experts,

 

I have recently updated to windows 10 and also at the same time cleaned all my old files on the system.

 

When I try to create any object in SDK, I get the following error. "XRepository Error: Repository Path xxxx is not valid or not found". What strange is that I dont get the error while creating the project. However as soon as I create any object. It throws this error and does not allow me to proceed further.

I have uninstalled and re-installed a clean SDK and also changed the project and import settings and still the same issue.
