Update for from number CODOUT_INT_CUSTOMER failed; interval is already in use

Hi All,

 

I am not able to change the existing external number range set up in "Integration of Business Partner data from your Cloud Solution to ERP" in C4C. By default, in C4C, there are number ranges existing with type as Automatic as shown below. This is creating an issue for the Business as this is not in sync with the ECC (backend) system number range. When I tried to change the number range then, i got the error message as "Update for from number CODOUT_INT_CUSTOMER failed; interval is already in use". This is absurd. I've checked the SCN for solution and it seems, the Consultants whoever have got the same kind of issue have never got the right solution here.

 

I hope, that was a history and now there should be a solution to make required changes to the External Number Range in C4C. Please suggest me how to proceed to get the changes done.
